A trained strategist from Boston Consulting Group and Kearney, Mads is a board member and chairman as well as an investor with more than 30 years of international experience from leading and advising leading business groups and family-run SMEs in their quest for profitable growth and value creation.
In this quest, Mads contributes an arsenal of concrete experiences, competencies and networks to the owners and management of the company. He does this in day-to-day board work, but also in situations where the company is faced with an important strategic choice and bet. It can be through a generational change, a revitalization and transformation of the company, establishment in a new market, systematizing sales & the company's Go-to-Market strategy, acquisitions or preparation for an actual exit strategy.
Mads has a broad experience as a professional board member in family-owned companies, such as Actief Hartmanns, Advice Capital, R2P Group GmbH, EcoMobility and LindeWerdelin Ltd, but also from over 10 years of experience working on the boards of selected capital funds portfolio companies such as Wallenberg and InterIkea based Alder AB, Norwegian Verdane, German HQ Equita GmbH and Italian Ambienta Sgr.
In connection with board work, Mads is often involved as an active investor in the company with risk equity on an equal basis with the owners and management of the company.

Mads is married to Alexandra and has three adult children. In free time, it stands on family and friends. The journeys are made primarily to the south of France in the summer and Italy in the winter.
