Meet Gert Josephsen

Gert has extensive experience as a professional board member in family-owned and private equity-owned Danish companies such as Riis Retail A/S and Bezzerwizzer Nordic ApS.

In addition, in-depth insight into the commercial success criteria comes from commercial leadership positions in well-established international Danish C25 companies such as Ambu and Coloplast. In addition, Gert has a heavy international experience as a commercial responsible for marketing food to Southeast Asia, Middle East, Eastern Europe/Russia, USA and Oceania (Australia & New Zealand) from tenures at Unilever and Arla Foods.

In Gert's current role as Senior Strategy Consultant, he works for both major Danish and foreign companies developing strategy and change processes with a primary focus on internationalisation and commercial excellence, regardless of whether the goal is growth or consolidation. Such tasks are solved in a wide variety of industries, for example, in lifescience and the maritime industry.

Finally, Gert acts in the role of an active investor in smaller growth companies. In addition to traditional board tasks, specific strategic or operational tasks are solved for which there are no resources or competencies within the company.

When Gert is not in his work clothes, his free time with his family is spent on nature and cultural trips to exciting countries, often outside Europe. In addition, cycling, running, padel tennis as well as renovation projects in the cottage are kept in shape.
