Claus has a commercial background with strong competencies in strategy, business development and organizational development. The different areas of expertise come from, among other things, 15 years of CEO experience, which has since been supplemented by an Executive MBA.
The weight of Claus's professional experience comes primarily from the IT and Telekom industries, where he has worked for more than 30 years with business development, scaling and internationalization of companies. The focus has always been on the individual person and their ability to realize their own potential and thus the growth of the company.
Today Claus is exclusively engaged in board work primarily in technology companies in the IT and software sectors. Claus primarily works in owner-led growth companies, which he is passionate about developing in close collaboration with the owners. According to Claus, there is a completely different commitment and a shorter path from will to action, and this appeals to him when working on the various projects.
Free time is spent with family and friends, where the culinary experiences are highly valued. Claus is also a passionate golfer, but running and cycling are also very important.
