Meet Annette Nielsen

Annette has a deep understanding that well-being and psychological security are essential for high performance and business development.

With more than two decades of experience as an executive, Annette brings a strategic mindset, comprehensive financial understanding and broad business knowledge to the table. Her journey, which ranges from key roles at LEO Pharma to managing the Business Area at Sahva A/S, culminates in the establishment of Take a Breath ApS, where she is co-founder of a consulting firm dedicated to promoting high performance, psychological safety and human sustainability in business.

Annette helps leaders create strong teams and drive change in a way that motivates people to contribute and succeed. Her management experience includes everything from managing support functions such as Finance, Communications and People Development to managing clinics and production as well as close customer contact.

With a desire to put her experiences into play, Annette assists managers and companies to execute the strategy, achieve the goals and ensure high employee satisfaction.

Annette is driven by the desire to make a difference, achieve shared visions and see people grow and achieve their goals.

Personally, Annette is married to Jim and has two adult children. She is engaged as Team Manager for the Danish national team in Powerchair Floorball (Parasport), where the team became world champions in 2022. In addition, she enjoys time with family and friends, long walks with the dog and creates good memories through experiences.

  • Voluntary board work as a member of the board of the Muskelvindfonden Foundation for over 10 years and as Chairman of the Board of Musholm Bugt Feriecenter for 3 years.
